Digital Minds Embed is EDII’s core programme, designed for insurance professionals who recognise the need to innovate and adapt in a fast-changing environment. It is suited to mid-to-senior level professionals across underwriting, broking, claims, operations, people, change, and technology roles who want to strengthen their ability to think critically, influence effectively, and contribute to meaningful change.
Embed is a 9-month, CII-accredited programme delivered through a hybrid format, combining virtual learning with in-person workshops. The programme is highly interactive and collaborative, creating a safe, structured environment in which delegates can explore new ways of thinking, challenge assumptions, and learn from peers across the insurance market. Delegates are supported throughout by experienced Coaching Directors with deep industry knowledge.

About the Programme
Duration and structure
Embed is delivered as a 9-month programme. It consists of 9 modules, built around the five stages of Design Thinking.
Cohort size
Each cohort is capped at a maximum of 22 delegates, enabling small-group learning with a range of perspectives across the industry.
Delivery model
We follow a hybrid delivery approach, combining in-person and virtual sessions that provide delegates with a comprehensive and enriched learning experience. Individual post-session assignments put delegates’ learning into practice.
Facilitation
Embed is led by Coaching Directors with deep industry experience. Delegates receive further support and access to tools, techniques, and frameworks via a delegate portal.
Showcase
The final module is an end-of-programme showcase, where delegates present a cross-market, comprehensive Action Learning Project to address a real-world challenge or opportunity. This provides delegates with an opportunity to demonstrate their learning while presenting to peers, seniors, and industry leaders.
