Testimonials From Previous Delegates

Alistair Blundy, CEO, Skyrisks
“I used to think that innovation was a magic art only understood by a specialist team hidden somewhere in the organisation. Digital Minds is brilliant at making innovation accessible, and it gave me the confidence and skills to drive positive change in the industry.
After the programme I felt empowered to be an intrapreneur. I got involved in a project to harmonise the way we structured data, removing pain points and improving the team’s efficiency. I’m grateful to Digital Minds for this empowerment, which is now more relevant than ever as I’m involved in a startup, where successful innovation is the heartbeat.”

Emma Culham, Regional Manager, National Underwriting Centre UK&I, Chubb
“Digital Minds is a totally unique opportunity. Not only do you get to work alongside a really diverse group of people. You build skills and gain insights that are normally off-limits to our industry. Exploring new technologies, learning how to embrace design thinking, and challenging yourself and others to deliver meaningful change. You learn in the classroom, but everything is really practical, so you can start applying it immediately. It doesn’t stop when you leave the course either, they really encourage you to build your network, putting on interesting talks and providing opportunities to attend EDII alumni events.”

Mark Firman, Head of Business Change & Transformation, Ascot Underwriting Limited
“There were numerous highlights during the programme, but I most enjoyed the group project. This was a real-life challenge for our market, we explored ways of addressing this topic and worked with people from different organisations and in different roles.
This also provided the perfect opportunity to put into practice some of the learnings from each module. I also liked how Digital Minds Alumni were invited in to allow us to test our ideas, present our proposals and gain valuable feedback.”

Clare Lebecq, Group Operating Officer, Specialist Risk Group
“At SRG we specialise in creating innovative solutions to challenging risk transfer questions and we seek to adopt a similar innovative approach to the use of technology. EDII and Digital Minds has helped our colleagues to think creatively about how we can embrace new technology to drive positive change. It has also helped them to think beyond the boundaries of our own organisation through their interactions with like-minded individuals across our profession.”
